Nancy Moniz is the Director and Founder of Elevate Life Solutions.  She is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker who has been practicing in the mental health and forensic field for over 20 years.  She earned her Bachelors degree in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts and completed her Masters Degree in Clinical Social Work from Boston College.  She received a certification in Forensic Social Work.  Additionally, she received a certification in field supervision from Columbia University and has extensive experience providing clinical supervision for masters level clinicians. She works well with college students who are coping with life and school adjustment issues.​She is trained in evidenced based treatment approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing.   Her specialty areas include coping with life adjustment issues furthering personal and career growth, individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, self-esteem issues, relationship issues, and grief & loss.  Additionally, Nancy is trained as a forensic clinical social worker offering expert opinion, consultation, assessment, record review, evaluation and testimonial services. She specializes in immigration, aid in sentencing, substance use and mental health, risk mitigation, guardianship assistance, treatment and discharge planning.​Nancy brings an open, non-judgmental and flexible manner to all of her clients.  She creates a safe and supportive environment with her warmth and open mind.  She strives to help each client reach above and beyond their personal goals and achievements while maintaining a healthy balanced life.  She hopes for open and honest communication in sessions.  Her approach is directive and active with use of coaching techniques alongside traditional therapeutic approach.  Nancy promotes exploration of challenges, difficult experiences, feelings, and behaviors that are getting in the way of success and life goals.  She wants each person to manifest into the very best version of themselves, and achieve success in all areas of life. ​
